Hades and Persephone - Life And Death

Description

I was supposed to have completed this by January but I had to color it all over again as the original colors looked garish. Anyway, Hades and Persephone represent both beginnings and endings, namely the start of the new year and the end of the previous one. This is also a remake of a piece I made 10 years ago. 


I used a combination of pages 63, 65 and 66 (figure A) of Jack Hamm's How to Draw Animals book as reference for my horses. Originally, the lines looked like this but the leg of the right most horse looked a little weird, as if the left horse had an extra one (><) so I chose to keep it hidden.
